This collection illustrates, that the question of porn in American culture is a complicated one. Without even examining the various definitions of pornography, there is still a great deal to be done. What do we do with pornographic material? How do we use it? What is it doing to us, if anything? All these questions are raised, and some of them are answered, but what is clear from this collection is that pornography in America is here to stay, and interpreting its significance will continue to foster discussions by scholars in the future.
